Pricing
Three things cost $99. Everything else is in writing.
Know what to expect before anyone comes out. The tune-up, the diagnostic, and the air quality check are $99, flat. Everything else gets a written, flat-rate price you approve before any work starts, and that number is the invoice. No overtime fees, no “starting at,” no pressure.
- $99 diagnostic, credited to the repair
- No overtime fees, ever
- The written price is the invoice
- $99 Seasonal Tune-UpA full inspection and tune before the season hits. We clean, adjust, test, and write down what we found.
- $99 Emergency DiagnosticWe find the real problem, show it to you, and put the fix in writing before touching a tool. 24 hours a day.
- $99 Indoor Air Quality CheckWe measure particles, humidity, and pollutants, then hand you a plain report with the fixes that matter.
Who we are
Hello. We’re Duality.
Duality Heating and Air LLC is a Denver heating and cooling company run by one licensed technician and the people he trusts. We fix furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, and the air in your home, and we do it the way we’d want it done at our own house. Comfort, in perfect balance.
-
Denver-based
One technician who lives here, not a call center in another state.
-
Price in writing
You approve the number before we touch a tool. It never changes.
-
Fix before replace
We repair what can be repaired and show you both numbers when it can’t.
How the $99 works
Pay to find it. Then you decide.
The diagnostic is the whole point. You get the real cause, in photos and plain English, and a written price to fix it. Whether to go ahead is always your call.
- 01
We come out
Day or night, $99. That’s the trip and the full look.
- 02
We show you
Photos, the failed part, plain English. You see what we see.
- 03
We write the price
Flat-rate. Before we touch a tool. Say yes or no.
- 04
The $99 comes off
Go ahead with the repair and the diagnostic is credited.
The written price
What’s on it. What never is.
Every home is different, so we don’t post guesses. We do post exactly how the number gets built, so there’s nothing to decode when it lands in your hand.
On the written price
The part and the labor, one flat number
Not an hourly rate that runs while someone looks for a part.
Permit and inspection, when the job needs one
Every installation is permitted. The fee is on the estimate, not a surprise later.
Rebates and credits, already subtracted
Xcel Energy rebates and the Colorado heat pump credit come off before you decide.
The $99 you already paid, credited
Go ahead with the repair and the diagnostic comes off the top.
Never on the bill
Overtime or holiday fees
2 a.m. on New Year’s costs the same as Tuesday at noon.
A diagnostic fee that grows
$99 is $99. It doesn’t turn into something else once we’re in the basement.
Add-ons you didn’t approve
If we find more, we stop, show you, and write a new number. You say yes or no.
A push toward replacement
When repair makes sense, we repair. When it doesn’t, you see both numbers and decide.
Ways to pay
Every way you’d want to.
Pay the technician on site or from your invoice link. For bigger jobs, financing is approved in minutes and the monthly payment sits right on the estimate next to the price.

Money questions
Straight answers.
The questions we hear most, answered the way we’d answer them at your kitchen table.
Can you give me a ballpark over the phone?
We’ll tell you honestly what we can, but a number that’s right for one house is wrong for the next, and a wrong number helps nobody. So we look first, then write it down. The written price is the one that counts, and you see it before any work.
What does the $99 diagnostic include?
The trip, a full inspection of the system, a test of the failed part, photos of what we found, and a written flat-rate price to fix it. If you go ahead, the $99 comes off the repair.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?
No. Never. The price is the same at 2 a.m. on a holiday as it is Tuesday at noon.
What if the fix costs more than expected once you open it up?
Then that’s on us. The written price is the final price unless you ask for additional work, which we quote separately and you approve first.
How do estimates for a new system work?
A free, no-pressure visit. We measure the home, look at the ducts, and write up the options side by side, with rebates applied and the monthly payment next to the price. Take it home, sleep on it, call us when you’re ready. Or don’t. No follow-up pressure.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Financing through our lending partner with approval in minutes, plus Xcel rebates and the Colorado heat pump credit applied on the estimate. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle, Venmo.
