Privacy Policy
Plain English, and specific to what this website actually does. Last updated September 9, 2026.
The short version. We collect only what we need to call you back and do the job. We never sell your information. We use standard analytics to understand which ads and pages bring people here. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@duality-comfort.com.
This policy covers the website at https://dualitycomfort.com and the ways you contact us through it. It is published by Duality Heating and Air LLC, 3940 S Hazel Ct, Englewood, CO 80110.
What we collect
The booking form
When you use the “Get Help Fast” or “Free Estimate” form, we collect the issue you select, your zip code, your first name, and your phone number. We also record the date and time, the page you were on, your browser type, and any advertising tags in the link you arrived from (described under Cookies below). We do not ask for your street address until we call you.
Calls, texts, and email
When you call, text, or email us, we keep the phone number or email address you used, the content of the conversation, and notes about your equipment and service history so we can help you next time.
Service records
When we do work at your home we keep your name, service address, equipment details, photos of the equipment, invoices, and payment records, as any contractor must.
Automatically
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs: your IP address, browser, the pages requested, and timestamps, used for security and to keep the site running.
Why we collect it
- To call or text you back about the service you asked for, and to schedule and complete it.
- To send appointment confirmations, arrival notices, invoices, and receipts.
- To keep a service history for your equipment so future visits are faster and cheaper.
- To understand which pages, searches, and ads bring people to us, so we spend our small marketing budget well.
- To protect the site and our business from fraud and abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it for marketing by other companies.
Cookies, analytics, and ads
What the site stores in your browser
The site keeps two small entries in your browser’s session storage. They are deleted when you close the tab.
- Attribution. If you arrive from a link with advertising tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid, fbclid, msclkid), we remember them along with the page you landed on and the referring site, so that if you send the form later we know which ad brought you.
- Page variant. If you arrive from an ad for a specific service, the homepage headline and the form may be adjusted to match (for example, opening on “No Heat” for a furnace ad). We remember which variant you saw.
Analytics and advertising tools
We may use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to measure visits, button clicks, and form submissions, and the Meta Pixel to measure the results of Facebook and Instagram ads. These tools set their own cookies and receive your IP address, device information, and the pages you view, under their own privacy policies. We configure them so that your name, phone number, and email are never sent to them; only the shape of the action (for example, “form submitted, issue: no heat, zip: 80210”). You can block these tools with a browser extension or your browser’s tracking-protection settings, and the site works the same either way.
Call tracking
We may use CallRail to show a different phone number depending on how you found us, so we know whether a call came from Google, an ad, or a direct visit. Calls to those numbers ring to us and may be recorded for quality and training; if a call is recorded you will hear a notice at the start.
Calls and text messages
By submitting the form or texting us, you agree that we may call or text the number you provided about your request, appointment, and service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with your service. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Your consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything, and we do not share your phone number or consent with third parties for their marketing.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions that don’t become a job: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer and service records: for as long as you are a customer and for seven years after, to honor warranties and meet tax and licensing rules.
- Analytics data: per the retention setting in each tool, no longer than 14 months in Google Analytics.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP and of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link. Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and we honor the same requests from anyone, anywhere. Email info@duality-comfort.com or call (720) 447-0177. We answer within 45 days and never treat you differently for asking.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising in the sense defined by Colorado law.
Children
This site is for adults arranging home services. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we update this page and the date at the top in the same update. Material changes are noted on this page for 30 days.
