What to do right now.
Pick what’s happening. About one in five calls is solved by one of these before the truck arrives. If it is, we cancel the visit and you owe nothing.

Set the thermostat to Heat and 5° above the room. Give it 5 minutes.

Find the furnace switch (looks like a light switch on or near the unit). Make sure it’s on. Check the breaker.

Pull the filter. If you can’t see light through it, swap it and turn the furnace off for 30 seconds, then on.

Still cold? Send the form or call. Pipes can freeze in hours.

Set the thermostat to Cool and 5° below the room.

Check the breaker for the outdoor unit. It often has its own.

Look at the copper lines outside. Ice means turn the system OFF so the coil can thaw, then call.
