How to get reimbursed.
Can I use Duality and still file a warranty claim?
Often, yes. Many warranty companies reimburse an out-of-network repair if you call them first and get authorization. Ask them for a “reimbursement” or “cash in lieu” option. We give you the itemized invoice they need.
Will you do the diagnosis so my warranty pays for the part?
We can provide a written diagnosis and photos. Whether they accept it is up to the warranty company.
Is a home warranty worth having for HVAC?
For an old system you plan to replace anyway, sometimes. For a no-heat night in January, a maintenance plan with priority scheduling is the better bet.
